The Women's League has been collaborating with WISDM since 2021, creating speaking opportunities for current and recent graduate students at MIT. It's a chance for us to meet the people doing amazing research every day at MIT, and hear about a students hopes and plans for their future. Speakers present on their life and work, and answer questions at the end of the talk. The Women in Innovation and STEM Database at MIT (WISDM) promotes the visibility of women in our academic community, increases gender diversity in innovation and entrepreneurship, and makes it easier to find talented and diverse speakers for various events. WISDM and the WL support women and gender non-conforming MIT community members and upholds the Institute's efforts to foster community, equity, and inclusion.
