Open House
Staff, students, post-docs, spouses, partners—whether you’re new to campus or new to the League, you are welcome at our fall Open House! Come meet other newcomers and get to know the MIT Women’s League. Held at the beginning of each academic year.

WISDM Speaker Series
The Women's League has been collaborating with The Women in Innovation and STEM Database at MIT (WISDM) since 2021, creating speaking opportunities for current and recent graduate students at MIT. It's a chance for us to meet the people doing amazing research every day at MIT, and hear about a students hopes and plans for their future. WISDM promotes the visibility of women in our academic community, increases gender diversity in innovation and entrepreneurship, and makes it easier to find talented and diverse speakers for various events. WISDM and the WL support women and gender non-conforming MIT community members and upholds the Institute's efforts to foster community, equity, and inclusion. Breakfast Lecture Series
Get the story behind the story from MIT women at the cutting edge of research. Join us for breakfast and an informal talk, and start your day with an extra dose of inspiration. Twice yearly in fall and spring.

English Conversation Classes
The Women's League led English Conversation Classes for international MIT visitors from 1963-2023. This long-standing program was designed to help visitors make new friends, learn about other cultures, and become more confident speaking English. Due to changes in our demographic and a growth in English language class options available in Cambridge, our program was placed on hiatus in 2023. Our English Partner program continues, and you can find out more by reaching out to the program administrator, Kendel Jester.
Annual Meeting
The Women’s League Annual Meeting was last held on Wednesday May 18, 2022, at noon. Our guest speakers were our 2021 PKG Scholars. Look for an invitation and registration information for our next meeting in April 2023, and join us to meet old friends and make new ones too.
Stratton Lecture Series
The Stratton Lecture brings together MIT's leading reserachers to discuss the critical issues of the day.
The lecture will return in 2025.
